Dan Kennedy
Dan Kennedy is on the
board of Congregational Leadership Northwest and has
been serving individuals, congregations and other
organizations nationwide since 1991. Dan is a
Professional Certified Coach and works with leaders who
are ready to create results that matter for themselves
and their congregations. He has been interviewed about
the coaching profession by news and business
publications including Inc. Magazine and The
Seattle Times. He also offers his highly effective
Co-360 Personal Assessment and Review service.
Dan is a speaker and
facilitator on issues regarding coaching, leadership,
and career development. He also produced and hosted a
well-regarded radio program on workplace issues that
aired for two years in the Seattle area on KSER 90.7 FM
He completed the advanced
curriculum at The Coaches Training Institute, and was a
member of the International Coach Federation’s language
committee, which was responsible for creating the
definition of what professional personal coaching is
today. Dan helped found the Seattle area ICF chapter, as
well. He is also the creator and publisher of The
Coach's Resource List, a comprehensive listing of
information sources for those wanting to learn more
about the skills and profession of coaching.
Dan has a history of
active engagement in his community. He recently
established the Coaching Circles for Pastors program in
collaboration with CLN--a unique way to support pastors
in becoming more effective in their work and engaged in
their lives. He has held a number of leadership posts at
Alki United Church of Christ, and he has done pro bono
work with Seattle Tilth. He has also served on the board
of the Puget Sound Career Development Association, and
consulted to Next Chapter of Puget Sound, a consortium
of non-profit and governmental organizations devoted to
helping people in the second half of life contribute as
much as possible to society.
